We first travelled to Phuket with our then very young family 5 years ago, and immediately fell in love with the island. The people, the pace – it all seemed the antithesis of where home is for us, Hong Kong, and we quickly realised that Phuket gave us the perfect base for much needed rest and respite. Soon, we decided to make Phuket our second home and ground was broken for Villa Aria to be built.

We then spent a lot of time learning about accommodation in Phuket. There is ample choice of accommodation for all budgets. You only need to type in “Phuket” in hotel.com or tripadvisor and you’ll be inundated with pages and pages of options. It is not easy choosing the right thing for the holiday you have in mind. Having looked at and stayed at a few key places ourselves, what was clear to us is that accommodation is highly commoditised.
And it is this very thing that sets Villa Aria apart.

Villa Aria is special not only for the unusually large grounds, luxurious interiors, and attentive staff but because our villa is not rented through agents or the mass market. Most of our guests are referred through word of mouth and we take care to ensure that Villa Aria is the right choice for the guests that do get in touch with us. We also make every effort to make our guests’ stay special, helping our guests with any aspects of their trip. For example, we recently helped a guest arrange a birthday party, preordering cakes and decorations for a special birthday during their stay at Villa Aria. We are responsive to enquiries and requests, whilst at all times respectful of the privacy and personal space of our guests.
